Welcome

This was the last thatched pub to remain in Scotland!
Known to date from at least 1750, it has stood on the old main road between Ayr and Edinburgh for over 250 years. The village of Carnwath is located between Peebles, Biggar and Lanark, and the Wee Bush Inn is today an ideal location for a family meal out or a drink in historic surroundings. In addition, the restaurant is available for private functions. Located on one level, the Wee Bush has full disabled facilities.
The bar for a drink with your friends or a friendly chat with us.
